Softgiving and Method partnership

Year-Long Partnership to Focus on Conducting High-Impact, Monthly Charity Stream Campaigns

Softgiving, a leading charity stream platform, and Method, a global, world championship-winning esports organization and media company, today announced a one-year partnership. The two organizations will focus on creating monthly charity streaming events for select non-profit organizations. Together, they will provide the tools and resources needed to create memorable and impactful fundraisers.

The partnership kicks off today, Wednesday, May 27, with Method Mayhem — a Starcraft 2 tournament and charity stream benefiting Rise Above the Disorder, which provides a universal mental healthcare system accessible to youth all over the world. Since 2017, RAD has covered the cost of mental health care for more than 35,000 people across 132 countries.

 

So far in 2020, Softgiving has already helped streaming events raise millions of dollars for charity beneficiaries including Best Friends Animal Society, Feeding America, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, CARE and more. 

 

Softgivng and Method will also collaborate to develop opportunities for brands to sponsor the charity streams.

Softgiving will support Method and its charity live streams through their innovative live-stream integrations with Method’s influencers and events, to maximize revenue generated for charities. Softgiving will also create donation pages where Method’s community can donate, track the total amount raised, and view recent and top donors.
